I Create Spaces For People & Businesses To Thrive.

The past nine months has created a lot of job movement for people who I have worked with over the past decade. And it’s not just “the next step up” kind of movement…

It’s a massive leap of movement for the majority of the people who have reached out to update me.

Like… Double the salary, step up into an exec level role/management role for the most part. Life-changing money. Life-changing responsibilities.

And while only one of those people asked me for a reference (a woman whom I worked with a decade ago), ALL of them reached out to tell me right away once they had been made an offer.

This week it happened again…

This one in particular I am ecstatic about… This person literally was offered their dream job. And while I won’t go into anything specific about their role or the company that it is for… I had to write about it.

Because clearly – to brag for a moment – I have great mojo for people who work on my teams.

I’m not saying that I am responsible for these people getting these opportunities… I’m just saying a common factor has been me having managed/lead them.

I’m grateful I got to play a part in their journey. Recent or old.

I create spaces for people to thrive. And if you look at my track record with P&Ls over the past decade and a half… I make businesses thrive too, in the areas I manage.

Not-so-humble brag.

I’m just grateful the people who have worked on my teams get it and feel it.

I get up at 5:30am every day, no matter what day it is. I make my bed every morning. I drink a modest amount of coffee while reading two digital newspapers and watching the news. I make sure my roommate, George, has food and water. (George is an Australian Cattle Dog.) Then I can start my day. This is my morning routine.
