Jealous Bitch Apple Lemon Curd Tart – A New Canadian Thanksgiving Tradition.

This isn’t a recipe post for an Apple Tart.

Fuck that noise.

You won’t be scrolling through a load of text to find a recipe for this lovely confection I made this afternoon to pseudo celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving (even though I no longer officially celebrate the holiday).

Here is the NYTimes recipe that inspired me to bake one. I didn’t use their recipe. I just made it up my own. (I used Lemon Curd instead of apricot jam.)

Though when I started, I had intended to use just a pie dish – because I had forgotten I’d actually bought a tart pan at some point last year.

AMAZING!

It was delicious perfection.

Even George was jealous.

Though, to be transparent, that bitch is always jealous of my food.

I get up at 5:30am every day, no matter what day it is. I make my bed every morning. I drink a modest amount of coffee while reading two digital newspapers and watching the news. I make sure my roommate, George, has food and water. (George is an Australian Cattle Dog.) Then I can start my day. This is my morning routine.
